Kim Tran

Kim has been immersed in the beauty industry since 2008, after graduating from Marvel College. With a passion for colour and a commitment to growth, she has traveled across North America, training in cities such as New York, Vancouver, and Los Angeles to refine her craft and stay ahead of industry trends. She also holds a Red Seal certification, allowing her to work coast to coast across Canada.

After spending over a decade building and running her own salon, Kim developed not only her technical expertise but also her strength as a creative leader. Her dedication to artistry, education, and client experience laid the foundation for her latest venture: HART Salon & Spa. As co-founder, Kim brings vision, depth, and heart into every detail, offering a space that elevates beauty and well-being in equal measure.

Kim has also completed her Trichology Certification through Truly You Academy in partnership with the International Association of Trichologists and will be continuing her education in trichology to further deepen her knowledge of scalp health, hair wellness, and advanced hair loss education.

Jae Nguyen

Jae a multi-passionate entrepreneur with deep roots in the beauty industry. Having opened various businesses throughout her life, including a successful nail salon, Jae has always had a talent for recognizing opportunities and turning them into thriving ventures. She’s also the founder of her own nail product line, Nailed, as well as Babes Couture, a luxury fur brand that reflects her bold sense of style and eye for detail.

Her love for the industry was shaped early on, growing up around her mother’s salon where she first fell in love with the power of beauty, transformation, and connection. From a young age, Jae was immersed in a world of creativity, precision, and entrepreneurship. She’s stepped into her next chapter of Hart’s newest expansion: the innovative Japanese head spa & salon.

Alex Bocalto

Alex is an abstract, color-driven artist in the hair industry since 2017, Eveline Charles–trained. Her work lives at the intersection of texture, movement, and individuality—bringing an effortless energy and contemporary edge to every head she touches.

 

She specializes in precision scissor work and razor cutting, creating alternative, lived-in shapes that feel both intentional and undone. Each look is a balance of structure and freedom, tailored to the person wearing it.

 

Under the name Shagmomma, Alex built her signature while cutting through Alberta and British Columbia—blending barbering with long hair artistry to carve out her distinct, effortlessly cool shag.

 

Now based in Edmonton, she’s focused on building community and stepping into education—sharing her craft, inspiring other artists, and continuing to create hair that feels as good as it looks.

avril beza

Avril is the newest Protégé Stylist at HART. A recent graduate of MC College, she is passionate about continuing her education and refining her craft behind the chair.

With a special interest in blonding, extensions, and luxurious head spa experiences, Avril is dedicated to creating beautiful results while building her skills, confidence, and expertise under the mentorship of the HART team.

​

Outside of the salon, you'll find her enjoying Pilates, discovering new cafés and cocktail bars around Edmonton, or spending quality time with her friends and family.

Jasmine Trinh

Jasmine is passionate about intricate nail art and constantly exploring new designs, bringing a creative and detail-focused approach to every set she creates. After completing her certification at MC College, she continued to grow her skills, refine her techniques, and develop her own artistic style.

 

Her work is all about self-expression — helping people showcase their personality, mood, and aesthetic through thoughtful, wearable art. Whether it’s soft and minimal or bold and intricate, Jasmine loves transforming ideas into designs that feel personal and meaningful.

 

With an eye for trends and a genuine love for creativity, Jasmine Trinh creates a space where clients feel heard, confident, and celebrated. Every set is crafted with intention, artistry, and a true passion for making nails feel like a reflection of who you are.

Daniel is a passionate and experienced Nail Technician with 16 years in the nail industry. Known for his creativity, attention to detail, and dedication to his craft, he takes pride in delivering high-quality nail services while making every client feel confident and cared for.

 

A true lover of nail art and design, Daniel is highly versatile and experienced in a wide range of nail techniques, styles, shapes, and finishes. From clean, classic sets to intricate nail art and bold, creative designs, he loves customizing each set to complement the individual and bring their vision to life.
